Jason Edwards has been creating, recording, and mixing noises and sounds for as long as he could hold a microphone. His sound design and mix work have screened nationally and internationally including the prestigious festivals Berlinale, X Dance, OXDOX, Blue-Sky, and Silverdocs.
With both a technical and artistic background in feature film, television, broadcast documentary, music, interactive multimedia, and advertising, Edwards has produced work in sound design and mix for the NBC/Universal Television series "The Cape", Lion's Gate's "The Ultimate Ride", El Immigrante, Miss Gulag, and the acclaimed documentary Elequent Nude – The Love and Legacy of Edward Weston and Charis Wilson.
He has also recently completed work on Misha Klein's award winning stop motion short "Fred", EP Davee's independent feature film "How the Fire Fell" and Fish Munga's sports documentary "Halo Effect" which racked up awards and recognition at this year's XDance. In addition Jason works extensively with agencies including Fusion, Sockeye Creative, Robot Food, Ackerman Films, Nemo Design, Airblaster, Northwest Documentary, and The Interactive Department.
Edwards has recieved numerous awards and an NW Emmy nomination for his accomplishments in Sound Design and Mix.
